“Actual problems of modern plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine and dermatology” International Conference

On May 28-29, 2015 “Actual problems of modern plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine and dermatology” International Conference took place in Odessa, supported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and P. L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. For the first time three community organizations: Ukrainian Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, Ukrainian Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Ukrainian Academy of Dermatology have joined their forces to carry out activities aimed to improve professional skills of plastic surgery, dermatology and aesthetic medicine, and the ability to work together to solve problems of each individual patient. The conference brought together more than 300 specialists.

L. D. Kalyuzhnaya, Prof. at Dermatology and Venereology chair at NMAPE made a report “Diffuse alopecia: classification and differential treatment” within a section “Trichology”. Modern classification of alopecia, which is the most convenient for practical use by dermatologists was provided. The speaker has also focused attention of the audience to pathogenetic validity of the Pantogar for all varieties of the disease.

“Aspects of detox therapy in dermatology” report by V.I. Khrushch, Ph.D., Assistant at Dermatology and Venereology chair at ONMU  has shown the results of successful treatment of complex chronic diseases of the skin (dermatitis, psoriasis) under conditions of Hepa-Merz modern-detoxicant and hepatoprotector inclusion into the standard therapy.
