Lessons We Learned during the COVID-19 Pandemic

With the support of Alpen Pharma AG, was held an international video conference entitled “Lessons We Learned during the COVID-19 Pandemic”.

In this conference participated representatives from Ukraine, Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, the Republic of Belarus and Moldova.

In her report, prof. Mitiuriaeva I.A. shared with the audience consolidated information of China and other countries unique experience in obtaining effective methods of protection in the context of the COVID-19 virus pandemic.

In turn, prof. Koloskova E.K. shared the results of the Ukrainian doctor’s struggle with the virus. In particular, there was discussed the epidemiological situation in the Chernivtsi region, where the first cases of coronavirus infection were recorded.

In preparation for the conference, representatives of each of the participating countries shared protocols and recommendations for patient management.

In Georgia, the stages of telephone counseling by a doctor of patients have been developed in order to avoid contact and reduce the likelihood of infection.

Germany, presented a patient memo that contain detail information of the preventive measures needed during a pandemic.

As a result of a comprehensive discussion of information on the situation with coronavirus in different countries, we came to the conclusion that today there are no drugs for the effective prevention of COVID-19 disease. Therefore, for the treatment and prevention of acute respiratory viral infections, it is necessary to use drugs with a high level of evidence and a safety profile, such as Umkalor, Influcid, Tonsilotren, Immunokind.
