“Actual problems of treatment and prevention of diseases of the upper respiratory tract” scientific and practical conferences with international participation

On 10 – 12 February 2015 “Actual problems of treatment and prevention of diseases of the upper respiratory tract” regional scientific and practical conferences with international participation were held in the following cities: Dnepropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog and Kharkov.

More than 1.000 pediatricians, internists, family and ENT doctors and pharmacists have attended them. The Conference program have included presentations by leading Ukrainian and German specialists, familiarization with new approaches in diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
 

Questions for rational therapy of acute and obstructive bronchitis were outlined in the report by Yuri Kononovich Bolbot, MD, Professor, Head of the Department of Hospital Pediatrics and Neonatology at Dnepropetrovsk Medical academy.

There was also a report by Svetlana Alekseevna Mokiya-Serbina, MD, professor of pediatrics, family medicine and laboratory diagnostics at Dnepropetrovsk Medical Academy.Sergei Viktorovich Zaykov, MD, Professor, Department of Tuberculosis and Pulmonology at P.L. Schupik National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Kiev has informed about the results of clinical studies on the effectiveness of Prospan product in Ukraine and worldwide during the last decade.

Sergey Borisovich Bezshapochny, MD, Professor, Academician of the International Academy of Otorhinolaryngology, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology UMSA, chief Rhinologist of Ukraine (Poltava) and Grigory Ivanovych Garyuk, MD, Professor, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at KhMAPE were making reports on the modern principles of local treatment of inflammatory diseases of the oropharynx and pharmaceutical care.

Dr. Markus Covic (Germany) has informed about history of «Engelhard Arzneimittel» company and perspectives of its development.
